The criteria used in the allocation of parliamentary Special Seats provide for parties that have secured at least five percent of the valid votes and only CCM, CHADEMA and CUF have qualified.

CHADEMA got 36, CCM gained 64 and CUF gained 10 special seats and there will be more three special seats to be allocated.
