Keter Nandi Hills MP has now accused National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi of
blocking debate on the impeachment motion against Devolution Cabinet Secretary
Anne Waiguru.
Keter says he has already submitted the motion to the
Speaker’s office with signatures of 180 MP’s but he claims the Speaker has
refused to approve the motion by setting high threshold before approving the
motion.
Keter has told journalists that Muturi is now
frustrating the motion which is seeking for the removal of Waiguru from office
over claims of corruption in her docket.
The outspoken URP MP is further accusing the Speaker of threatening MP’s not to append their signatures on the motion.
