Ruto no show up

The US president was received by President Uhuru Kenyatta and a host of senior government officials. Deputy President William Ruto, who is facing a crime against humanity case at the International Criminal Court, was nowhere to be seen.

Upon arrival, president Obama, whose father is Kenyan, received a bouquet of flowers from young Joan. He took time to greet, hug and take pictures with her. The US president signed a visitors’ book as President Kenyatta watched. Also at the JKIA to receive President Obama was President Kenyatta’s son Muhoho Kenyatta.
He later shook hands and hugged with President Kenyatta under the watch of the hawk-eyed Secret Service officers.

Auma later rode in President Obama’s official car christened the ‘Beast’. Auma then took a ride in the ‘Beast’ which is one of the most highly protected and armoured vehicles. President Obama appeared to have confused the ‘Beast’ when he walked towards the decoy, before being shown the right one.
