On Tuesday, Hillary Clinton won Democratic primary in California, the Associated Press reported early Wednesday.
Clinton won 56 percent of the vote while Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders got 43 percent, with 93 percent of districts reporting, according to the New York Times.
Clinton is the presumptive Democratic nominee and will face presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.
Clinton is the first woman to be a major political party’s presidential nominee.
