Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko
In an interview with NTV’s Larry Madowo, Senator Sonko yet again
dismissed claims of being a drug dealer, the latest of which was made by his political arch-rival Governor Evans Kidero.
“My wealth comes from God. I
have brains, I have hands. I used to deal in land deals since I was in school”
said Senator Sonko.
“I’ve never dealt with drugs, I
have never been convicted with any drug offence. It was just a propaganda when
I won the Makadara seat…there was a dossier that was brought by Saitoti (former
Internal Security Minister) which was later cleared.
“I’ve never dealth with drugs, I
can’t differentiate between cocaine, sugar, heroine. I don’t deal with drugs
and I’ll never deal with drugs. I am a God-fearing leader,” said the
Senator.
He however refused to mention his
worth.
