1 DECEMBER 2015 WORLD AIDS DAY EXHIBITION CANCELLED IN TANZANIA

President of United Republic of Tanzania Dr. John Magufuli cancelled the climax of HIV and AIDS exhibition.

The exhibition week started from 24^th November to 1^st December, 2015 in Singida region at Pipozi ground. It was officially opened by Singida Regional Commissioner on 25^th November, 2015.

Theme is getting to ZERO. “Zero New HIV infection, Zero Stigma and Discrimination and Zero AIDS related Death”.

Magufuli said funds meant for exhibition would instead be used to buy medicine. He also cancelled celebrations of Independence Day for Tanzania. Read more.
